WINTER IN THE DESERT
The contrast of barren desert and snow is too good an opportunity to miss for any photographer. Monument valley and Northern Arizona in December with golden winter light and crisp air, adds a sharpness to any image. Its also a lot easier to photograph with fewer visitors and even less in 2021 with COVID-19 regulations in place and strictly enforced. Being alone in such a vast landscape with just a camera for company, adds a spooky dimension to these shots.
